Join us for a fun day of soccer and to help fight pediatric brain cancer at the 2nd Annual Kicks 4 a Cure, hosted by LAFC So Cal Youth. This 5v5 soccer tournament is a non-sanctioned tournament and accepts all teams and players, from competitive to rec. It's a great opportunity to organize a team of friends to play together for a great cause!

Additional event information:

The spirit of this event is fun, and player-driven. While each team has a coach to manage teams, playing time, and behavior, the event is intended for players to play for the love of the game, and to raise money for a great cause. Coaches and spectators are reminded of this, and should cheer all participants on.

Teams will be assigned to play their games on one day (Girls on Saturday, December 13, Boys on December 14); expect to play all of your games within a 4-hour span. All teams will be scheduled a minimum of three games, with some teams playing a fourth match. Championship awards are presented to the first and second place teams in each division.

The format is 5v5 (four field players + a GK). Games are 24 minutes (two 12-minute halves) with a 1-minute half time.

Teams must carry at least five players on its roster, and up to eight total players.

All participants must complete a Waiver of Liability before participating. Each team is responsible for submitting these waivers on the day of the event.
