The Brayden Cole Hinck Foundation Patient Assistance Fund

Because of your generosity, The Brayden Cole Hinck Foundation has established The Brayden Cole Hinck Foundation Patient Assistance Fund at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital—a fund dedicated to helping families whose children are currently undergoing treatment.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the emotional toll is overwhelming, and the financial burden often follows. While parents focus on saving their child's life, everyday expenses continue to pile up. This fund helps ease that burden by providing assistance for essential needs such as:

  • Travel and temporary housing

  • Groceries and daily necessities

  • Childcare for siblings

  • Transportation and other unexpected expenses associated with extended hospital care

In just the first few months, more than $69,000 has been committed to helping families through this fund, which equates to helping approximately 300 families who are facing one of the most difficult journeys imaginable.

In the months ahead, we look forward to sharing stories that demonstrate the real impact your generosity is making—bringing hope, relief, and support to families when they need it most.

Together, we are ensuring that no family has to face this journey alone.
